Winter Break

During the University’s winter break, student group leaders may apply for student group recognition, request edits to existing student groups, and submit and edit events and opportunities, but University staff will not be available to review applications and edit requests and to provide support, from Tuesday, December 23 until Monday, January 5. Best wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season!

Meraki St George

What are you intensely curious about? Following one’s curiosity is the golden path to developing something magical. Meraki is a group of people who work on what they genuinely care about (NOT SCHOOL) every week. If you’ve felt alone working on art, tech, or a movie in your dorm room, Meraki is the place for you.

People who come to our sessions create art, design video games, code 5ft robots, and work on their startups. If you want to build a product and get users, awesome, we’ll help. If you wish to explore Black Holes or art, that’s equally as awesome. We’ll bring in speakers, give tactical feedback on ideas, provide a space to demo your work and expose you to grants and funding opportunities. With more traction, we’ll also provide hardware like arduinos and vr headsets.

We’re a place to where people come together to work on what excites them. What will you build? Weekly sessions are shared on our Instagram.
