The Covering Soles Student Chapter works with schools to help host virtual and in-person Service Days in connection to non-profit organisations across the GTA. Through these Service Days, we seek to give youth—specifically those in underserved communities—the opportunity to get involved with or start their own community service initiatives.
Members of Covering Soles Student Chapter work year round to prepare for these service days, while also hosting events to boost community service engagement around campus.
Virtual Service Days are offered 2-days per school year. During these days, we ensure that students will have the opportunity to complete various projects with virtual non-profits.
In-person Days of Service are offered 2-days per school year. During these days, we bring in local organisations for students to work with to complete community service projects. Projects can be single day activities that require no previous preparation or they can be prepared for with the culmination of the project being on the day of service.
