The Beyond Sciences Initiative Student Association is the University of Toronto’s branch of the global Beyond Sciences Initiative (BSI) non-profit association. BSI’s mission is to foster intercultural dialogue among scholars worldwide. This is done through an annual virtual conference that brings together researchers from across the globe to share their work and discoveries.

In addition to academic exchange, BSI encourages scholars and scientists to engage with their local communities through meaningful service. Past initiatives have included distributing food and supplies to the homeless during winter months and hosting community dinners in shelters.

The BSI Trinity College chapter organises monthly service activities, all planned and led by our members and executive team. If you have ideas for a community project or would like to participate in one of our current initiatives, we’d love to have you join us! While based at Trinity College, the club is open to all University of Toronto students.
