IAFA (Inclusive Architecture For All) is a student-led group focused on inclusive design in architecture. We explore how design decisions shape accessibility and inclusion, and how spaces can better serve diverse users. We look at how everyday design decisions shape how people experience space.
Going beyond traditional notions of accessibility, IAFA examines how factors such as lighting, materiality, circulation, and sensory experience impact diverse users across different abilities, backgrounds, and identities.
Members can expect guest lectures, case studies, group discussions, and opportunities to participate in design competitions!
