Hiraya is a Filipino-Canadian undergraduate journal dedicated to expanding the visibility, participation, and recognition of Filipino-Canadian scholars in academic life. We publish rigorous undergraduate research both about Filipino communities and by Filipino-Canadian students across disciplines, creating a space where Filipino perspectives are represented. Through publication, mentorship, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing, Hiraya seeks to empower emerging scholars, celebrate Filipino-Canadian excellence, and build lasting pathways for the next generation of researchers, professionals, and community leaders.
