The Philosophy Academic Society’s goal is to provide spaces for students to discuss, learn, and engage with philosophy. The primary purpose of PAS is to maintain involvement of those in philosophical programs through rich, and potentially technical, dialogue. The secondary purpose of PAS is to generate outreach for the philosophy department and to dispel the idea that philosophy is only for those formally educated in the subject.
