The University of Toronto Trek for Teens Club will raise funds and awareness for homeless youth, with a particular emphasis on the organizations supported by the Trek for Teens Foundation Inc. The group will support the Trek for Teens Foundation Inc. in their events, campaigns and activities and will provide students with the opportunity to volunteer for local homeless service providers.The group will help students grow through the organization of awareness and fundraising campaigns, activities and events. It will further enable students to reach out to the community, by acting in leadership positions and develop their public speaking skills, primarily through workshops and presentations to post-secondary, high school and elementary level students.
