Interested in AI but not sure where to begin? Already building with AI and looking for other students to work with?

Join us for the AI Club Fall Orientation and learn how you can get involved this semester.

AI Club is a student community focused on helping students move beyond simply using AI toward understanding it, building with it, applying it to real projects, and creating opportunities from what they learn.

At the orientation, we’ll introduce:

• how AICIA works
• our beginner-friendly AI learning pathway
• upcoming workshops including AI 101, AI 102, AI 201, and AI 202
• the AI Project, Research, Startup, and Creative pathways
• opportunities to join project teams and Labs
• student instructor and leadership opportunities
• mentoring and peer learning
• Demo Day and project showcases
• research, startup, career, competition, and creative opportunities

Who should attend?

Everyone interested in AI is welcome.

You do not need previous AI, programming, or technical experience.

This session is especially useful if you:

• are curious about AI and want to learn where to start
• want to learn how to use AI more effectively
• want to build AI applications or agents
• are interested in AI research
• want to experiment with AI image, video, or filmmaking tools
• have a startup or project idea
• already have AI experience and want to teach, mentor, or lead projects
• want to meet other students interested in AI

What happens after orientation?

We’ll help members choose an appropriate starting path based on their interests and experience.

A typical path might look like: Discover, Learn, Build, Join a Lab, Complete a Project, Demo Day, Opportunity

You can participate at your own level, whether you’re opening an AI tool for the first time or already building sophisticated systems.

Come meet the community.

The orientation is also a chance to:

• meet the AICIA team
• meet other students interested in AI
• ask questions
• learn about upcoming events
• find collaborators
• discover ways to contribute to the club

Students from all programs and years of study are welcome.

Join us and find out what you can build with AI this year.
