UNICEF UTM is hosting the Edu-Fair on September 28th. The purpose of the event is to promote Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) #4 which is quality education.
“Every Child has the right to learn”
Many children worldwide are not able to get access to good quality education for various reasons, such as those living in emergency states or conflict areas, and based on gender where girls are facing barriers to equal education. Today’s children will be tomorrow’s leaders. Therefore, their well-being is crucial for global growth and development.
The edu-fair is an event that will shed light on those various inequalities to UTM students and other members and will work towards raising $10, 000 for UNICEF to ensure that children everywhere, especially those in vulnerable situations can get the help they need to receive quality education.
There will be many fun stations such as Henna Station, Balloon and Dart, Polaroid/Photo Booth Station, Spin the Wheel and more. To raise awareness, each station will focus on various topics related to children’s quality education such as: Early Childhood Education, Primary education, Adolescent Education, and Girls’ education.
Looking forward to seeing you at our events!
