Join us at IA-2021 for a workshop that celebrates neurodiversity and invites you to reflect on what it means to be a neurodivergent student. Led by Dr. Debra Bercovici, a neurodivergent neuroscientist and psychotherapist, this session explores neurodiversity through a sociopolitical lens. Engage in discussions about navigating academia as a neurodivergent person and develop a personalized toolkit to support your university experience. Topics include setting boundaries, identifying needs and values, executive functioning and studying, self-disclosure, masking and authenticity, rejection sensitivity, advocacy, and more. This interactive workshop welcomes various forms of participation, including non-speaking and anonymous engagement.
