Our reading group titled “the Ottoman Manuscripts Reading Group” provides an opportunity for University of Toronto students to participate in a collective reading session focused on Ottoman-language manuscripts and a wide range of archival documents.

The event is open to University of Toronto students, particularly those interested in Ottoman and Post-Ottoman Studies who have some preliminary experience working with documents in Ottoman Turkish.

In this second session, we will focus on the court registers in the Ottoman context and be familiar with some of the samples.
