Ableism in the Classroom is a free event on March 29, 2023 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Hart House Great Hall.

Hosted by the University of Toronto Accessibility Awareness Club (U-TAAC) in partnership with Accessibility Services and Students for Barrier-Free Access (SBA).

Join other U of T students, accessibility staff and professors to openly discuss the issue of ableism in the classroom. By the end of the conference, the goal is that everyone will be more aware of this problem, learn from and respect the experiences of students, implement practical short-term solutions and brainstorm long-term changes to how U of T approaches accessibility.

Students, faculty and staff from any institution who are interested in accessibility and inclusion within professional programs are eligible to attend.
