DESCRIPTION:Join us at IA-2021 for a workshop that celebrates neurodiversity and invites you to reflect on what it means to be a neurodivergent student. Led by Dr. Debra Bercovici\, a neurodivergent neuroscientist and psychotherapist\, this session explores neurodiversity through a sociopolitical lens. Engage in discussions about navigating academia as a neurodivergent person and develop a personalized toolkit to support your university experience. Topics include setting boundaries\, identifying needs and values\, executive functioning and studying\, self-disclosure\, masking and authenticity\, rejection sensitivity\, advocacy\, and more. This interactive workshop welcomes various forms of participation\, including non-speaking and anonymous engagement.
