University of Toronto Student Anime and Manga Association (UT-SAMA)

The University of Toronto Student Anime and Manga Association (UT-SAMA) was founded in September 2004. The club was formed with the intention of bringing together people with similar interests in Japanese animated and illustrated media. The Art Studio and Light Music Club subgroups work to promote the creation and discussion of related visual art and music. Through regular meetings, contests, and events, members of UT-SAMA seek to spread awareness and appreciation of this growing form of entertainment throughout the university community.
