The purpose of the ASIS&T UT student chapter is to foster a community of learners and researchers.

From the research curious to the research confident, together creating opportunities to:

  • share special research interests
  • develop research writing for publication (including collaborative research)
  • learn from (and with) faculty and professional networks
  • gain skills training for our fields
  • and more…

A group of students supporting students through our academic career and cheering each on to make contributions to the profession. Centering issues of Information Science and iSchool studies across levels of study and concentrations.

About ASIS&T:
The Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) is the only professional association that bridges the gap between information science practice and research. For nearly 85 years, ASIS&T has been leading the search for new and better theories, techniques, and technologies to improve access to information.
