Welcome to Because I am a Girl at UTM! We’re a student-led-non-profit organization committed to advancing gender equality both locally and globally. As a Non-Profit initiative affiliated with Plan International Canada, our mission is to foster and fortify the principles of gender eqaulity across the world.

At Because I am A Girl, we believe in creating a world where every individual, regardless of gender, has equal opportunities and rights. Through engaging events, workshops, and advocacy campaigns, we work to challenge existing norms, uplift marginalized voices, and advocate for social justice.
