Beyond the Evidence (BTE) is a welcoming community for University of Toronto Scarborough students that focuses on law and true crime. Whether you’re interested in a legal/forensics career, obsessed with solving cases or just curious about how criminal evidence and the justice system really work, BTE is a place to learn, connect and have fun. Our goal is to create a space where students can turn their interest in law and/or true crime into engaging experiences, build connections with like-minded peers and learn through curiosity and critical thinking.

Join us for case-solving challenges, legal simulations, true crime discussions, interactive socials, guest speakers and networking opportunities and more. No experience or prior knowledge is needed! Just bring your curiosity and get ready to look Beyond the Evidence.
