Bioethics Undergraduate Student Association (BUSA) St George

The University of Toronto Bioethics Undergraduate Student Association (BUSA) is a community dedicated to advancing the understanding and application of bioethics across disciplines. Open to undergraduate students from all faculties, BUSA provides a collaborative space for students interested in applied philosophy and the ethical dimensions of medicine, science, technology, public policy, law, and beyond. Our goal in creating BUSA is to provide both accessible information about the program here at UofT as well as active engagement and extracurricular exploration of the field. Toronto, through the University of Toronto’s Joint Centre for Bioethics (JCB), is a recognized global hub for bioethics research, education, and practice; and we have made it our goal to help students tap into these opportunities with all the necessary resources and support at their fingertips.
