Welcome to the Brain Changes Initiative at the University of Toronto! We are a dedicated chapter of the renowned Brain Changes Initiative, an organization committed to raising funds for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) research and promoting brain health and well-being.
Founded by the inspiring Dr. Matthew Galati, who survived a TBI following a motor-vehicle accident that left him in a coma, our organization embodies resilience, advocacy, and education. Dr. Galati’s passion for brain health and his dedication to providing support and resources for individuals with TBI, as well as educating the general public, are the cornerstones of our mission.
At the Brain Changes Initiative UofT, we seek students who share a passion for neurogenesis and traumatic brain injury. Join us in our efforts to advance TBI research, support those affected, and promote overall brain health within our community. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those impacted by TBI and contribute to the broader understanding of brain health.
