The Cell and Systems Biology Student Union (CSBSU) represents the undergraduate student population enrolled in CSB courses. The Union works to better the undergraduate experience in CSB courses by facilitating communication between students and the staff/faculty members in the department. The CSBSU Mentorship Program connects upper year students with first and second year students. The Peer Mentor facilitated discussions, fostered a supportive learning community and developed their communication skills by offering academic support and guidance. The Mentee met with their mentor throughout the year to discuss topics and/or attend events related to academics, research, and social networking.
