Let’s say it takes 1000 workers to maintain the current infrastructure, so then what happens if the available number of workers fall to 500? This increases the risk of infrastructure collapse.

Innovation Challenges – With fewer young people, there may be a decline in innovation and technological progress. If everyone is being dragged into maintaining infrastructure and fixing AC in future heatwaves, then there are less people to innovate green tech.
