The Environmental Literacy Club at University of Toronto dedicates itself to the importance of understanding environmental and sustainability issues through literature and media. Our mission is to inspire awareness of the environmental crisis our planet is facing by promoting diverse voices, whether that be through books or other forms of media. Elementree puts a strong emphasis on supporting children in traditionally low-income, urbanized communities in Toronto by raising money for children’s books with environmental focuses through charity initiatives.
