FEMME: Fertility, Endocrinology, Medicine & Menstrual Education
FEMME is a student-led organization at UTSC dedicated to advancing research, education, and advocacy in underrepresented areas of women’s health. Rooted in a science-driven and trauma-informed mission, FEMME explores topics such as fertility, gynecological cancers, endometriosis, PCOS, sexual and reproductive trauma, and hormonal health that is not talked about enough. Our club creates space for interdisciplinary conversations at the intersection of biology, medicine, and lived experience.
Through awareness campaigns, creating feminine care packages, and educational workshops, we hope to equip students and young girls with the tools to critically engage with women’s health issues from both clinical and advocacy perspectives. FEMME also leads youth outreach initiatives, including health education workshops and wellness care packages to support girls and women across the GTA and beyond.
Our mission is to foster informed, compassionate and empowered future health leaders who are committed to addressing the medical, social, and systemic gaps in women’s healthcare.
