The Applied Genetics and Biotechnology Students’ Association is aims to create a supportive and empowering community for all Applied Genetics and Biotechnology (AGB) students and the rest of its members. AGB is a small program in a big school, and we want to ensure everyone feels connected and heard! We hope to make genetics just as fascinating outside the classroom as it is inside the classroom by stimulating discussions surrounding real-world events in the field. One can expect socials, informative journal sessions, speaker series and more! The time commitment as a general member is completely flexible but a higher level of commitment is also available on the executive team.
