Golden Z – University of Toronto Student Chapter St George

Golden Z @ UofT is a community-driven student organization dedicated to advancing gender equality through 1) local and global service, 2) advocacy, and 3) leadership development. We are affiliated with Zonta International, which is a UN-recognized nonprofit committed to women’s rights and empowerment. We are part of a worldwide movement working to create lasting change.

Our members engage in advocacy projects, community service initiatives, and social impact programs that address gender inequality at its roots. We build leadership skills, foster meaningful connections, and create space for women to support each other’s growth while driving real change on campus and beyond.

Our vision is to create a world in which women’s rights are recognised as human rights and every women is able to achieve her full potential. In such a world, women have access to all resources and are represented in decision making positions on an equal basis with men. In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.

Join a growing global movement of students working for gender equality and an end to violence against women and girls worldwide. Together we will make this the last generation that has to face the status quo.
