The purpose, objectives, mission and/or mandate of the organization is to create a community where students can explore their faith and Christianity while serving their campus, local community, and international community in practical ways. LIFT Church UTSG Club’s goal is to show all students that they are valued and loved, to foster a positive and welcoming community through weekly meetings and regular fun events, to meet new people and invite them to be an active part of the UTSG community, and to encourage and support students, staff, and faculty during difficult or stressful times during the school year. LIFT Church UTSG Club hopes to bring encouragement, positivity, and hope to students through regular tabling, weekly small group meetings that provide space for people to learn more about Christian beliefs, and weekly church services that all are welcome to attend.
