Linyun Cultural Association looks to create a vibrant and exciting society within the University of Toronto to celebrate and promote Chinese cultural heritage in both its classic form and modern re-creation. We strives to create a safe space where individuals of both chinese and non-chinese descent can enjoy, practice, or simply be introduced to and experience the vast culture of China, including but not limited to literature, fine art, music, fashion, cuisine and more. Linyun Cultural Association look forward to introduce the once exotic culture to the University of Toronto, and is excited to be the bridge that connects the still somewhat separated societies.

As a member of Lingyun, one can not only attend all events we host, but also will have the opportunity to actively participate in whatever area of event may spark your interest. These includes:

• Tea tasting
• Traditional instrument and music
• The art of burning incense
• Traditional Chinese food and pastries
• Chinese calligraphy and literature
• Traditional and modern Chinese fashion, particularly Hanfu, Qipao, and more
• Chinese fine art
• Traditional Chinese philosophical thoughts and debate
