Our club’s mission is to educate and spread awareness on how animals are treated by our society. If you’re passionate about animal welfare and advocacy, this club is perfect for you! Through fundraising for charities and educating students at UofT St. George, we make information about the farm industry, the legal status of animals, and other animal welfare issues more accessible and engaging. This club is perfect for people who are passionate about animal welfare and/or are pursuing a career in law, veterinary medicine, public policy, science, research, sustainability, or education. No prior experience is needed — just curiosity, compassion, and a desire to learn. PAWS provides a welcoming space to build awareness, think critically about real-world issues, and take meaningful steps toward improving the way animals are treated in our world.
