PRODUCT RESEARCH & OPTIMIZED TECHNOLOGY ORGANIZATION (PROTO-TYPE) is a student-led club at UTSC focused on building innovative digital solutions that improve student life through technology, strategy, and user-centered design.

Our club brings together students interested in product development, UI/UX design, web development, mobile applications, data analysis, branding, and digital strategy. We create projects that combine functionality with strong user experience, ensuring that the products we build are both impactful and intuitive.

What makes PROTO different is our focus on thoughtful product creation,  from research and planning to design and execution. We believe successful products are built by understanding users first. Through collaboration between designers, developers, analysts, and marketers, we aim to create solutions that are practical, accessible, and meaningful for the student community.
