The Psychology Students’ Association (PSA) is an organization of undergraduate psychology students at the University of Toronto. You, the undergraduate psychology students, elected us! ([http://psa.psych.utoronto.ca/current-team/](http://psa.psych.utoronto.ca/executives/))
Our goal is to broaden students’ participation in the life of the Psychology Department and the University beyond the classroom. As a student taking a course in psychology, you are a member of the PSA.
Our organization has many purposes. It serves as:
– a liaison between staff and students (an avenue for both compliments and complaints)
– an information service about the department, graduate schools, opportunities, and just about anything psychology related
– an educational service
– a social network
We organize events that range from academic sessions, social gatherings, seminars, and more!
Previous events we’ve held are:
Dr. Freud Competition
the Textbook Trades
Library Research Seminars
How to go to Graduate School (Clinical and Experimental) Seminars
Psychology and a Movie Seminars
Just a Movie
Psychology After First Year
APA Writing Seminar
The Philosophy of Science Debate
The Wine & Cheese Social
… and more
