Regenesis Environmental and Community Initiatives UofT (St. George, Mississauga, Scarborough) St George

Regenesis UofT is the University of Toronto chapter of Regenesis, a Canadian student-involved university-based environmental and community-building organization. We believe in empowering students as as initiators of change in addressing today’s social and environmental concerns, through advocacy and service in local chapters. Regenesis UofT creates and manages initiatives and social enterprises that provide services to the university community as well as providing quality leadership experience for students. All of the initiatives are inspired by the needs of the UofT community, helping to make life more affordable and raising the quality of life on campus. Students involved with Regenesis UofT get a chance to shape the place they spend so much time in and gain relevant experiential education opportunities in the areas of operational and event management, accounting, communications, fundraising, graphic design, and much more. Our initiatives are concentrated in seven (7) areas: [1] Circular Economies and Waste Reduction, [2] Sustainable Food Systems and Food Justice, [3] Sustainable and Active Transportation, [4] Environmental Education and Training, [5] Green Jobs, [6] Environmental Justice and Climate Mitigation, [7] Habitat Restoration. We are a catalyst for social innovation and transformation.
