UTM R&R intends to serve as a starting point and community on campus for those who are interested in scientific research and academic publication across fields to gain skills in analysing academic literature, communicating research to the student body and non-experts. 

• Educating students on research methods and spreading knowledge of current research happening on campus
• Fundraising/Advocacy
• Literature Reviews (How to and allowing students to do practice their skills.)
• Communicating campus research through illustrations or other methods
