The Statistical Sciences Union (SSU) is the official course union of the Department of Statistical Sciences (DoSS) at the University of Toronto, St. George campus. SSU represents all undergraduate students enrolled in a major, specialist, or minor program offered by the Department, as well as students taking any STA or ACT-designated course.

SSU is dedicated to enriching the undergraduate experience in statistics, actuarial science, and data science through academic workshops, professional development opportunities, and social events. We additionally serve as a liaison between students and the Department, advocating for our members within DoSS, the Faculty of Arts and Science, and the wider UofT community. Whether you are a first-year student exploring statistics for the first time or an upper-year preparing for graduate school or industry, SSU is here to support your academic journey and connect you with a community of peers, mentors, alumni, and faculty who share your interests.
