During the University’s winter break, student group leaders may apply for student group recognition, request edits to existing student groups, and submit and edit events and opportunities, but University staff will not be available to review applications and edit requests, nor to provide support, from Monday, December 23 until Monday, January 6. Surround Sound is a competitive all-gendered a cappella group. They recently competed in the 2023 ICCA Central Quarterfinals, placing second, winning a special award for their beatboxer and qualifying them for the Semifinals. The group is known for their characteristic tight harmonies, strong soloists, and sharing their favourite songs with their audience.
