The Design Hub connects UTM students who are aspiring designers or interested in learning more about digital design, including but not limited to user experience (UX), user interface (UI), website and graphic design. The Design Hub’s goal is to provide a space for students to work on cases and build their portfolios, present their ideas, receive feedback, and conduct user tests with peers. The Design Hub offers case competitions, design challenges, co-work sessions and workshops and  to introduce students to design tools and industry professionals. The Design Hub aims to nurture UTM’s design community and ease the transition between academic work and professional design experience for students.
