ToxTalk is a toxicology outreach organization and platform that engages in topics and critical discussions around toxicants and toxins in our environment. The goal of ToxTalk is to engage the public through primarily a podcast that provides balanced evidence-based discussions of research surrounding toxicants and toxins relevant to public discourse. ToxTalk as an organization recognizes the significant issue surrounding misinformation within public discourse and seeks to clarify these discussions, educate the general public, contribute to academic discussion within the University of Toronto community, and challenge misinformation in toxicology discourse. ToxTalk also aims to provide engagement and promotion of toxicology discussion through articles, blog posts, and social media.
