At the U of T Tolkien Club, we believe in the enchantment and ongoing relevance of J.R.R. Tolkien’s works. We provide a space for Tolkien enthusiasts and newcomers alike to share their love for the Professor, to delve deep into his sub-creation and to explore the cultural roots whence his inspiration sprang. We invite the wider campus community to learn more about Tolkien, and to embark on life-enriching journeys in the worlds that flowed from his pen. Our club meets and hosts a variety of Tolkien related events including, book studies, guest lectures, playing Middle Earth-themed board game , and potlucks.
