UDesign is a student-run creative design club at the University of Toronto focused on cultivating emerging design talent through real-world projects and mentorship. Founded in 2011 to meet the growing demand from students and small organizations for accessible, high-quality design, UDesign has since evolved into a diverse, interdisciplinary collective of passionate designers.

In 2025, we sharpened our direction, placing greater emphasis on visual design for UX/UI and design thinking as core areas of practice. This evolution empowers our members with strong visual design skills, a polished portfolio of real-world projects, and the confidence to think critically, craft compelling visual narratives, and create design solutions that drive meaningful impact. UDesign thrives on the diversity of our team; fostering the growth and advancement of each member’s work and skills to achieve quality creative solutions.
