United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund: University of Toronto Scarborough Student Chapter (UNICEF UTSC) UTSC

UNICEF is the world’s farthest-reaching humanitarian organization for children. Across 190 countries and territories, and in the world’s toughest places, we work day in and day out to help children survive. To defend their rights. To keep them protected, healthy and educated. To give them a fair chance to fulfil their potential. As a student chapter, UNICEF UTSC, strives to advocate for children’s rights both in Canada and overseas.

Our purpose as a student activist group and UNICEF affiliated club is to host a platform for campus-wide advocacy about children’s rights, that aims to impact students, faculty, and staff at UTSC. Volunteering for UNICEF UTSC, students will have an amazing opportunity to engage in the lives of children both locally and all over the world. By becoming actively engaged, students can create change for the world’s future generation and ensure that the children of today grow up in a safe and healthy environment to become the leaders of tomorrow.
