UAEM UofT is part of a global student-led movement that advocates for access to medicines, affordable healthcare technologies, and open science practices. As a tri-campus club, we unite students from UTSG, UTSC, and UTM to push for equitable research policies and ensure that publicly funded innovations are accessible to all.
Our members engage in advocacy, education, and research by leading campaigns on issues such as affordable access provisions in university licensing, access-to-medicines report cards, and the promotion of open science. We organize panels, workshops, and collaborative events with healthcare professionals and leaders, researchers, and other student groups. Upcoming initiatives include global health panels, research fairs, advocacy campaigns, journal clubs, and community-focused events like blood drives and donation trackers.
Whether you’re interested in policy, research, event planning, advocacy, or communications, UAEM UofT offers a space to learn, take action, and contribute to meaningful change at the intersection of health, science, and social justice.
