The University of Toronto Melius Mentorship Network aims to help youth in Canada who are newcomers, Indigenous, refugees, or from low-income backgrounds. The program offers FREE support and guidance related to post-secondary education and careers.
The program is available during the academic school year (from September to June), providing the following services:
- Tutoring in subjects such as math, physics, biology, chemistry, and English for high school students
- One-on-one mentorship to discuss academic and career paths after high school
- Advice on applying to universities and scholarships
The program matches high school students with mentors who are current University of Toronto students or university graduates.
