UTMT is a student-led group dedicated to exploring and developing immersive technologies that strengthen our connection to one another and the environment. We focus on Mersivity, a form of eXtended Reality (XR) that is not only immersive but can itself be embedded within real-world systems. Our work bridges sustainability, technology, and society, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and meaningful innovation. With guidance from faculty, members engage in hands-on projects that explore how immersive experiences can drive social and environmental impact. By joining UTMT, you’ll have the opportunity to prototype, discuss, and deploy XR solutions that are both forward-thinking and grounded in real-world relevance.
