The purpose of the Serbian Student Association UTM is to foster a sense of community among Serbian students and promote Serbian culture and cultural exchange on campus through this student group
This will allow Serbian students to connect with and explore their cultural roots and expose other students, faculty, and alumni to the unique cultural traditions of this country in the Balkans
We aim to achieve this through various events, seminars, workshops, and/or lectures encompassing Serbia’s unique culture, such as traditional Serbian folklore workshops, potluck events, and guest speakers on topics like Serbian faith and traditions
Furthermore, we plan to organize excursions to key locations of Serbian culture, including Serbian Churches in the Greater Toronto Area and beyond
Lastly, we aim to organize cultural exchange events with other student-led groups, including outside of the university
