University of Toronto Strategic Marketing Student Association (USMA)
The University of Toronto Strategic Marketing Student Association (USMA) is UofT St. George’s first marketing-focused student group, dedicated to bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world application in marketing. Our mission is to empower students to explore the intersection of marketing strategy, branding, consumer behavior, and technology.
Through workshops, speaker panels, consulting projects, and networking events, USMA equips members with both the analytical and creative skills needed to lead in marketing, consulting, and tech-driven careers. We foster a collaborative, inclusive community of strategic thinkers eager to tackle complex business problems.
In addition to our core programming, we host casual workshop-style socials, like our “Topic of the Month” book club, where members gather to explore timely global issues through a strategic marketing lens. We also conduct research on behavioral economics and marketing psychology, publishing insights and trends in our monthly newsletter to keep our community informed and inspired.
