The University of Toronto offers countless research opportunities for its students, yet many remain unaware of how to get involved. The Undergraduate Research Students’ Association (URSA) is a student-run club dedicated to helping students navigate the world of research, offering guidance on finding positions, connecting with mentors, and building research-related skills through events, panels, and collaborative initiatives.
Each UofT campus has its unique research environment. The UTSC subdivision of URSA aims to foster a strong sense of academic community, mentorship, and opportunity within the Scarborough campus. Our goal is to help students discover the wide range of research pathways available to them at UTSC and empower them to take the first step, whether that’s exploring research for the first time or deepening their current involvement.
