UTM ACADEMIC SOC – Student Association of Geography and Environment (SAGE) UTM

The Student Association for Geography and Environment (SAGE) at UTM is an Academic Student Association. The Society not only represents the Geography and Environment student body, but also extends to other students who share a common interest in either subject.

We’re here for all UTM students but most importantly for Geography, Environment and GIS students to network, get academic help and to have lots of fun together. We work together with our Geography Department, our Academic Skills Centre and our Recruitment Office to ensure that our members are fully equipped for any need that may arise at any time during their university career.

Our prime goal is to bring Geo-Enviro interested students together under this club and to get them involved and active through a series of events, whether they be academic events, such as our informative Graduate Preparation Semairs, or social events, such as movie nights, hikes, and BBQs.

We are constantly striving to expand and improve our Geography community at UTM as well within our own home of Mississauga. We have a fantastic Faculty that works endlessly to help put the students first, as well as work on projects that benefit our community.
