During the University’s winter break, student group leaders may apply for student group recognition, request edits to existing student groups, and submit and edit events and opportunities, but University staff will not be available to review applications and edit requests and to provide support, from Tuesday, December 23 until Monday, January 5. The UTM Model United Nations group creates a debate-intensive platform where students actively engage in simulated United Nations conferences to enhance their skills in diplomacy, public speaking, international relations, and research. We welcome all delegates and no experience is required. Training sessions, networking nights with industry panelists, and interactive conferences will be held throughout the school year. Students will improve their writing and speaking abilities while making new friends.
