The UTSC Film-Making Club is a student-run creative studio dedicated to producing, writing, and showcasing original films made by students at the University of Toronto Scarborough.
Our goal is to give students of all backgrounds — whether experienced or complete beginners — a space to learn, collaborate, and explore all aspects of film production.
Members can take part in every stage of the filmmaking process, including cinematography, directing, scriptwriting, sound design, editing, and on-screen performance. The club provides hands-on learning through workshops, collaborative projects, and short-film productions, including our debut student project Who Ruins Sara’s Wedding?
By joining, members can expect to gain experience in storytelling, teamwork, and production while building a creative community that supports new ideas and voices in film.
