The Varsity Blues Mock Trial team is an undergraduate mock trial team that aims to provide a comprehensive, diverse, and law-focused learning experience. Varsity Blues Mock fosters a healthy, competitive team environment, and will represent the University of Toronto honourably at various international and domestic mock trial tournaments, specifically in the U.S., U.K., and across Canada. Participating in mock trial is a useful experience for any student. It strengthens critical thinking, argumentation, and writing skills, which are valuable for all students regardless of their background or aspiring career path.

Beyond competing, our mock trial team aims to help students develop and expand upon valuable skills, such as communication, teamwork, and perseverance. We aim to provide a community to encourage networking with hard-working, dedicated, like-minded students and legal professionals. Our team is structured like a law firm with managing and senior partners, associate and junior attorneys, testimony analysts, as well as paralegals. This ensures a wide range of roles and positions to make our team accessible and welcome to a diverse group of students looking to get involved in pre-law activities.
