Founded in 2022, the Young Scientists Research Association was formed to create a space for students of all scientific backgrounds to explore different academic topics. In this student-run group, members engage in a monthly journal club where each person presents their chosen research topic. The goal is to create a supportive environment for members to strengthen their literary analysis and presentation skills. Students will then lead discussions based on their papers, it’s expected that members will engage in friendly discussions to help their peers and themselves improve these skills. For students interested in pursuing further education, we hope these projects can be used for CV/resume building to support one’s application. We hope to foster an environment rooted in inclusivity where members can share their interests in new and upcoming academic fields.
